The TS-D12D2 12" subwoofer can handle up to 600 W RMS, delivering impressive low-frequency levels. This subwoofer features an injection-molded polypropylene IMPP™ cone infused with Aramid fibers for exceptional precision and strength. A butyl rubber surround supports the subwoofer during cone excursion, ensuring accurate, hard-hitting bass notes even when the music is turned up loud. With dual 2Ω voice coils, it offers more wiring options for flexible system setup.

Aramid Fiber Interlaced IMPP™

Pioneer engineers developed a process to blend aramid fibers into the polypropylene resin during injection molding. The resulting cone is ultra-thin and low mass with high rigidity and superior strength, producing natural, detailed sound with deep and powerful bass.

Butyl Rubber Suspension

Made from a specially blended, highly durable, and moisture-resistant compound, the butyl rubber keeps the cone moving in a precise linear direction. It reduces unwanted vibration from the cone to the basket during signal changes and stops, resulting in less distortion and superior bass frequency response.

Meta-Aramid Fiber

Pioneer's Meta-Aramid Fiber spider supports the voice coil by damping cone vibrations and improving linearity. Its soft part ensures smooth movement and clear sound reproduction under high power, while the firmer part controls excessive vibrations to prevent distortion.

Deep Bass

To achieve deep and tight bass, a rigid and lightweight cone is essential, paired with a proper motor structure. This subwoofer uses an oversized 4-layer voice coil and high-energy double-stacked magnets to increase overall power handling and SPL output, achieving great sound quality.
