The new CS 250 s2 Cento subwoofer enhances every sound system, delivering the authentic Hertz Sound Experience. High performance is achieved from ultra-compact sealed enclosures starting from 16 L for the 25 cm (10 in.) model.
Its 2Ω single voice coil configuration ensures compatibility with any amplifier and allows enclosures to house multiple subwoofers. The reduced depth, compact magnetic group, and lack of rear decompression hole maximize installation flexibility.
A special cooling system on the six-layer voice coil maintains optimal operating temperature during extended high-volume sessions. Dynamic fluid optimization and turbulence reduction, via the spider support and venting holes, minimize acoustic distortions at high excursions.
Cone geometry, suspension, and spider are designed using FEM simulations to ensure control and minimal distortion even at high mechanical excursions. Solid push connectors accommodate up to 8 AWG cables for low resistance and easy multi-subwoofer installations.
The subwoofer includes a high-resistance ABS plastic gasket for grille installation. An optional CG 250 grille in robust black metal mesh offers protection and a sleek look with the Hertz diamond aluminium logo.
