The 2nd-Gen R-Series delivers deep, clean, accurate bass with Alpine’s HAMR Surround for maximum cone excursion. The lightweight ceramic dust cap minimizes distortion, and the enlarged motor structure ensures better woofer control for a clean, strong bass response.

New Motor Structure

Double-stacked magnets provide more motor force for deeper bass and tighter cone control. Integrated Faraday ring reduces distortion, and Kevlar-treated cone ensures durability even at high volumes.

Additional Reliability

Polypropylene/ceramic composite dust cap provides rigidity and internal damping for smooth bass. Material offers higher heat reliability for continuous performance.

Flexible Application

Dual Voice Coil (DVC) with configuration jumpers for versatile wiring. “EZ-Change” twist-lock grille system allows quick grille installation/removal.

Increased Accuracy

High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) Surround allows 20mm total cone excursion while keeping the subwoofer cool for precise, efficient air movement.
