The all-new 2022 line-up of R-Series speakers are all Hi-Res Audio certified and feature a frequency response up to 40kHz. For the first time, the R-Series line includes a 3-way system and you can even choose from a Professional and Standard speaker line.

3-Way Component PRO Speaker

The R2-S653 is the top of the line of the new 2022 R-Series speaker line-up. It features a 16.5cm door woofer, 9.6cm mid-range speaker, and a 4.3cm tweeter with up to 40kHz frequency response.

Glass-Fiber Reinforced Cone

The door woofer and the mid-range speaker feature all-new glass-fiber reinforced cones. This material is very stiff and extremely lightweight, resulting in a super-fast response and highly accurate music reproduction.

Die-Cast Aluminum Basket and Large Magnets

The PRO models (R2-S635 and R2-S652) feature high-quality aluminum baskets – resulting in high stiffness and can carry heavier magnets without warping. This allowed engineers to fit larger magnets than in previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).

Hi-Res Audio Certified Hard Dome Tweeter

The all-new magnesium hard-dome tweeters deliver clear, detailed music reproduction and play up to 40kHz (Hi-Res Audio). They can be flush-mounted in their threaded housing or used with included on-dash mounts, and swiveled to point at the sweet-spot.

Easy-Fit Tweeter in OEM Locations

Remove the installation frame and trim ring to minimize the tweeter size, fitting it in many OEM locations (A-pillars, mirror triangles, door panels) for a stealthy installation.

Flexible PRO X-Over Network

The large-size crossover network includes high-quality components selected for best sound quality. Mid-range and tweeter levels are adjustable by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.

HAMR Surround

Alpine’s HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control, resulting in strong bass at high volumes without distortion.

New Speaker Grills

The new hexagon-design speaker grills look aggressive and do not increase the overall installation diameter.
