The Alpine R-Series Sound Components

HAMR Surround

The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround allows a maximum, linear cone excursion for high SPL, while maintaining full control over the diaphragm at any excursion stage for high sound clarity.

Re-Engineered For Highest Performance

More power: the 2nd generation of R-Series speakers include improvements such as the increased voice coil diameter from 30 to 35mm and an enlarged Neodymium magnet, resulting in a stronger motor structure with a more powerful bass output.

CFRP Cone

CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) is lightweight yet rigid. Its directional properties strengthen weak areas of the cone for rigidity throughout, delivering accurate and efficient performance.

Hi-Res Audio Tweeters

The 2nd generation R-Series tweeters feature Hi-Res Audio capabilities with a frequency response above 40kHz. The CFRP tweeter cones reproduce very high frequencies while maintaining a soft and smooth tonal balance.

Outstanding Clarity

The new aluminium voice coil (increased from 30mm to 35mm) improves mid-high frequency clarity and enhances bass reproduction.

Wave Guide Focuses the Sound

Alpine's Wave Guide molded into the speaker cone prevents phase distortion and focuses sound for optimum clarity.

Included Mesh Grill & Trim-Rings

Includes a metal mesh grill to protect the woofer and installation adapters for various vehicles and door mounts, including a 6 x 8” adapter.

Easy To Install Network

The external crossover network is compact and easy to install. Tweeter levels can be adjusted (+3dB / 0dB / -3dB) for perfect woofer-tweeter balance.

Swivel Tweeter

Both component and coaxial models feature a ring tweeter that swivels to improve off-axis response. It can be installed flush-mount or on-dash with included adapters for optimal imaging and staging.
